Wage Slave
I'd like to take a moment to announce my announcement.
I'M FREE!!!
In the words of my father, I am a "wage slave" no more. No more drives to work, no more late school nights, no more mean customers. In case you don't get what I'm hinting at, I quit my job. I am currently unemployed but loving it. There's simply no time for a job, no matter how cool it is. And let me tell you, it was way cool. Subway rocks!!
On a different note, I've heard some great quotes lately. Just the other day at show choir rehearsal we were discussing what kind of make-up to wear for the up-coming performance (earthen tones) and Christina asks
"Does anyone have a small drill?"
She needed one for her shoe. Of course.
And the other day Jamie and I were cramming for an important Physics quiz, so I asked her to define "inertia". To which she replied
"not having emotion".
We haven't gotten our grades back yet.
Then after school I returned home, parked the car in the garage, and before I even got inside the house my medium brother declared that he had 50 chocolate eclares and offered me one. How kind! And just how did he happen to obtain 50 chocolate eclares? Why, Dave Jensen gave him a ride home, naturally. I mean, why else would he have so many?
There was a costume party to night. Twas pretty fun. The only downside was the cat, to whom I (and others) are deathly allergic. But the costumes were nifty, there was Captain Planet, a ninja, a couple clowns, Richard Nixon, etc. Thankfully, no one dressed as a cat!
